A walker’s weekend
Day 1: the fells
Take on Cautley Spout and The Calf if the weather is good, or the shorter Winder and Arant Haw straight from town.
Evening: a table in town
Sedbergh has pubs, a pizza and pasta kitchen and bakery cafes on and around Main Street. Book ahead at weekends.
Day 2: books and an easy valley
Browse the Book Town’s shops, including Westwood Books in a former cinema, then take the Garsdale to Sedbergh low-level walk by train and on foot.
Events
